Barbeque Nation is a newly opened restaurant located at Al Barsha with a lot of different branch’s in India. The restaurant serves you with a variety of dishes in a complete Buffet with different items for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

The waiters at the restaurant would definitely treat you well. They’ll ask you your requirements on what you’d like; veg or non-veg. They’d explain about the live grill they have for their appetizers. The experience was more exciting to me than what I expected in terms of appetizers! I think their starters were the best in the entire buffet. I began being excited seeing as the mini inbuilt grill was in front of me and they started getting different items as I chose mix. They started off with Chicken Peshawari, Mutton Boti’s, Mahe-Adrak ki Fish, Prawn’s, Pineapple’s, Paneer and kept on bringing more items such as International grill, Punjabi Chicken Leg, Mutton Kebabs, Crispy Corn, Spicy Potatoes and Hoya Humani Kebab. This is literally a huge list for appetizers but my main favorites were Punjabi Chicken Leg, Chicken Peshawari, Crispy Corn and Spicy Potatoes. It’s the first time I’ve tried Crispy corn for the first time, which was served separately in a plate and included little pieces of onions and a little spice.

Then there were quite many salad’s at the salad bar which involved of separate pieces of cucumbers and carrots. The salad’s also involved of Roasted Chicken Salad, Greek Salad, Celery and Apple Salad, Pasta with Bell Pepper Salad, Sprout Beans Salad, Aloo Peanut Chaat and many more. I personally liked the Aloo Peanut Chaat, but I think it could be made better if it’s added with a few more ingredients to give it a real chaat taste.

For Soups, they have a live area for soup where you choose which items you want in the soup, and you could get them added in it. I got Chicken and Corn added in my soup, it tasted okay but I suggest them to have Hot N Sour Soup.

Getting to main course, I did like how they had a variety of different food items. Steamed Rice, Chicken Dum Biryani, Gurda Kaleji, Chaanp, Dal Makhani, Dal Panchmal, Dal Arhar Tadka, Murgh Hara Pyaaz, Mutton Rogan Josh, Mutton Biryani and a few more items. I think the Daal’s missed the spice and that tasty feel in them so I’d recommend them to work a bit better on that.

The desserts had another separate corner and included of different types of Kulfi’s such as Malai Kulfi, Chocolate Kulfi, Saffron and Pistachio Kulfi. There were different toppings as well like marshmallows, Oreo biscuits, m n m’s, Peanuts, Chocolates, Sprinkles, Sauces and many other tasty things. There were also Cupcakes, Firni, Brownies and Cheese cake. The staff told us that soon there will be Gulab Jamuns, Jalebi’s as well.

There’s also many drinks, like different Mock-tails. We tried Orange and Lychee Mock-tail. I also tried the Lime Soda which tasted amazing!

I think there should be some Chinese items and Chaat corner in the menu as that will make the dining experience even more better. But Overall, my main favorites from this entire buffet was the most tastiest appetizers. Something better would be having a written menu of appetizers so the customers can easily read and choose, since they’d forget the long list of items.

The service to me was absolutely great, I found the staff quite friendly and co-operative. Buffet for Lunch is priced at 59 Dhs and 75 Dhs for dinner for everyday.
